Whitney & Devin's Pine Point Engagement Shoot

When I found out that Whitney was engaged I was so excited for her!  I had photographed her senior portraits and her cousins wedding years ago.  When she told me they were planning to get married in Hawaii I was secretly hoping she would take me with her.  While the Hawaii plans have changed and although its a bummer not be headed somewhere tropical with them I'm pretty excited to document their big day next summer right here on the coast of Maine!

Whitney had Pine Point in mind for their engagement shoot and after battling the weather for a day that wouldn't thunderstorm on us we finally hit it just right and had a beautiful warm evening with soft pastel skies!  The beach was still a little busy by sunset but it didn't seam to bother these two one bit.  They were laughing and smiling the whole time, making my job easier and an absolute blast!  Here are a few of my favorites :)

Caroline & Kevin's Maine Lakeside Maternity Portraits

Caroline and Kevin are my dream clients. Those ones that you pinch yourself when you get to work with them.  They are clients that over the years have become friends and I feel so lucky to continue to have both a friendship and client relationship with them all these years later.

I shot Caroline and Kevin's engagement photos, wedding photos and now their maternity photos!  Next up is newborn photos which is coming up in less than two weeks now that their beautiful little man has entered this world!!!

I spent a beautiful Maine summer evening with them at Caroline's families lake house and we had an evening of fun, laughs and some of my all time favorite maternity photos!!!  Here are a few of my favorites for you to enjoy and stay tuned for their newborn session coming in the next few weeks!

Maternity Session with Isa & John

isablog0001I've known Isa since the 4th grade.  She was one of my best friends through elementary, middle and high school.  Although with the years since we graduated our paths have rarely crossed it took only moments for us to be right back where we were all those years ago- laughing, smiling and just having a blast together!  We spent the evening catching up, visiting and of course taking some photos. Isa and John are expecting their first baby this summer and I couldn't be more exited for them.  They are going to be the best parents and you can already see the overwhelming love they have for this little one. I love being able to capture the excitement as well as the deep and emotional clam that expecting moms have in these last weeks of pregnancy.  I think mom's have that 6th sense and know just how crazy life is going to be soon and so there is this serenity when its just her holding her belly- enjoying something so amazing and so life changing in the last few quiet moments.  Capturing those magic moments is what makes my heart so full and so happy.

Isa & John thanks for making the trip back "home" and for spending the evening with Silas and I for photos and a great dinner.  I can't wait to meet your little one next time your home.  So much love!!

Christmas Farm Inn Wedding Jackson, NH: Brittany & Eric

BIRTTANYWEDBLOG0040 Brittany and Eric went to school together but were not high school sweethearts.  It was years later that they crossed paths and something clicked.  They live here in the White Mountains and decided there was no better place to celebrate their love and start their lives together then the town they call home.  Their June wedding day was perfection in every seance of the word.  The weather was warm with blue skies and sun shining.  Brittany's dress was elegant and classic.  Her shoes gave her tiny self a little lift to make that kiss at the end of the ceremony a little easier.  The ceremony was sweet and personal and their smiles never faded.

Brittany and Eric I honestly can not tell you how incredibly honored I was to be able to capture your day.  Your wedding was beautiful and I may have cried happy tears more than once.  Your families are warm and welcoming and I could't have asked for a better way to spend a Saturday in June then with so much love and joy.  I hope your love your images as much as I do- as there are defiantly some new favorites in this post!

Hardy Farm Fryeburg Maine Wedding: Mark & Faith

Mark_Faith_Blog0001 Mark and Faith met in the first grade.  Mark couldn't help but have a crush on her from elementary school all the way through middle school and high school.  Faith wasn't exactly interested but his persistence paid off in high school when much to Mark's delight they began dating.  After 13 years together Mark popped the question on top of the Empire State Building in NYC and they made it official this winter, right here in Maine where it all started.

Surrounded by friends and family they tied the knot with a Scottish hand fasting ceremony and promised forever.  Thank you guy for having me as a part of your wedding day.  I couldn't be luckier to call you both my friends and to have spent such an incredible day by your sides.  Your love and smiles are warm and genuine and will make this world a better place.

XOXO Spring
