Coastal Maine Intimate Wedding | Kaela and Ryan

After starting to plan a big shin-dig for 2018, Kaela and Ryan decided that an intimate coastal Maine wedding was just what they wanted to celebrate the start of their forever.  They wanted to be surrounded by their families and keep things simple, sweet and about what really matters- LOVE.  

I was beyond honored to document their start of forever and I can't tell you how much I enjoy shooting these somewhat more low-key, small, intimate weddings.  Kaela and Ryan got ready at The Grand Hotel in Kennebunkport which made for the perfect backdrop for some beautiful getting ready portraits and details before we ventured over to The Scoop Deck for their first look!  **Can I just tell you that anyone getting married and wanting to do a first look at an ice cream shop- please call me!!! Anything ice cream and wedding related makes my heart happy!** 

The ceremony was simple perfection.  Preformed by the wonderful Erika Hewitt and standing under the tree where Ryan proposed they promised forever surrounded by their families.  We took just a few more moments after the ceremony for some family photos and then headed to the beach for one last set of portraits an the beautiful soft blues and grays of the Maine coast didn't disappoint!!!  

Kaela and Ryan's wedding day was a dream.  It was just the sweet and simple, all about love, surrounded by family type of event that speaks to my heart.  I can't wait to continue to focus my business on these intimate weddings and spend more and more of my time with amazing couples like these two!

Hardy Farm, Fryeburg Maine | Nikki & Dan's Wedding

Nikki and Dan were married on a spring day last June at the beautiful Hardy Farm.  These two have a love so sweet and so comfortable that you can't help but just say "Awwwwww" every time you see them together.  Their day was full of family, friends and so much joy!  Hand in hand they started their lives together and I'm so honored to have been able to document it.

Intimate Marblehead, MA Wedding | Nicole & Sean

Sean and Nicole were married on June 10th surrounded by their closest friends and family. These two love the ocean and decided the perfect place to say “I do” was Crocker Park in Marblehead, MA followed by a casual dinner reception at Market Restaurant in Annisquam, MA. It was a casual, laid back and super fun day! Intimate weddings that focus on the couple and their closest friends and family are always some of my favorite weddings and Sean and Nicole’s was no different! Nikki & Dan's Fryeburg Engagement Shoot

Nikki and Dan are tying the knot this weekend at The Hardy Farm in Fryeburg Maine and what better way to kick off the celebrations then by sharing their beautiful engagement session from last fall.  Nikki took advantage of some STUNNING Rent The Runway dresses and between the beautiful fields and mountains, the perfectly coordinated outfits and of course the effervescence of their love for one another it made for one of my favorite engagements sessions to date!!!    Enjoy these few favorites of mine and keep your eyes out for some more photos of these two love birds from their wedding day soon!

Kingsley Pines Maine Summer Camp Wedding

Ben and Leah share a love that is so full of joy that just being around them makes your heart light.  They smile, laugh and exude happiness in every moment together and that makes for an amazing wedding day!  Their friends and family gathered for not just a wedding day but for a whole wedding weekend.  Thats the amazing part of Kingsley Pines- its a summer camp where your wedding isn't just one day- its a whole weekend with bon fires, s'mores, swimming in the lake and lots of time spent with the most important people in your life.  

I admit I have a soft spot for Summer Camps and I know Leah does as well as she and I spent many summers together at our own summer camp in New Hampshire.   Even thought this wasn't our childhood summer camp I'm willing to bet that their early October day was the best summer camp memory she has.
